PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce damage upon occurrence of collision and pinching.SOLUTION: A torque limiting mechanism capable of transmitting rotational force of a rotary drive shaft to a driven shaft includes: an adjustment part for adjusting an upper limit value of the rotational force transmitted between the rotary drive shaft and the driven shaft; a detection part for detecting the transmitted rotational force; and a control part for setting the upper limit value adjusted by the adjustment part and changing the setting of the upper limit value on the basis of the rotational force detected by the detection part and the set upper limit value.
