<p>A scroll compressor is configured so that a medium-pressure refrigerant is injected into compression chambers (15). The scroll compressor is characterized in that flow passages which are used to inject the refrigerant from injection ports (11-3, 11-4) into the compression chambers (15) are formed in an orbiting scroll (11), that the scroll compressor is provided with an intermittent section which is intermittently connected to the flow passages by the orbital motion of the orbiting scroll (11), and that the refrigerant is injected into the compression chambers (15) after sequentially passing through the intermittent section and then through the injection ports (11-3, 11-4).</p>
