<p>A flywheel assembly is configured so that a reduction in the strength of a first flywheel is minimized. This flywheel assembly has: a center boss (3) having a through-hole (11) formed at a position further toward the inner peripheral side than the outer diameter of a crankshaft; a first flywheel (4) which has a hole (24a) for staking, the hole (24a) being located further toward the inner peripheral side than the outer diameter of the crankshaft; a second flywheel (5); a damper mechanism (6); a bearing (35) which supports the second flywheel (5) at the center boss (3) so that the second flywheel (5) can rotate; a stopper plate (44) which has a mounting hole (44a) and which prevents the bearing (35) from moving in the axial direction; and a rivet (45). The rivet (45) is provided so as to penetrate through the mounting hole (44a) in the stopper plate (44) and through the through-hole (11) in the center boss (3). The end of the rivet (45) is staked by a tool which passes through the hole (24a) for staking and affixes the stopper plate (44) to the center boss (3).</p> |
