PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience of an apparatus for performing authentication on the basis of information of a plurality of fingers.SOLUTION: Storage means 1b stores information detected at the time of registration by detection means 1a for detecting information to identify a user related to a plurality of fingers. Authentication means 1c determines an authentication level indicating a degree of which the information at the time of registration and the information at the time of authentication are matched and permits use of a function according to the authentication level on the basis of the information at the time of registration which is stored by storage means 1b and information detected at the time of authentication by the detection means 1a.
