The box (1) has a set of input shafts (EW1, EW2) that is arranged on a main axis (2), and an output shaft (AW) that is arranged on a secondary axis (3) that is parallel to the main axis. A reduction gear (4) is arranged with a set of countershafts (VW1, VW2). A set of switching elements (S1-S8) is connected to the output shaft. A set of switching devices (SE1-SE4) is provided, where one of the switching devices is arranged directly adjacent to wheel planes (IV, V) e.g. reverse gear stage. The input shafts are connected to one of input shafts and the output shaft.
