A hair care appliance comprises a handle 20, and a body 30. The body 30 has an outer wall 360 and a duct 310 wherein the outer wall 360 extends about the duct 310 and the outer wall 360 converges towards the duct 310. The outer wall 360 may have two parts, a first tubular shaped part (36, fig.2) and a second, cone shaped part (38, fig.2). A primary fluid flow path 400 may be provided between the outer wall 360 and the duct 310. A heater 80 may be provided between the outer wall 360 and the duct 310. The heater 80 may extend at least partially round and along the duct 310. A fan unit 70 may be provided for drawing fluid into the primary fluid flow path 400 from a primary fluid inlet 40 to a primary fluid outlet 440. The body 30 may comprise the primary fluid outlet 440 at one end where the outer wall converges towards the duct 310 and the primary fluid outlet 440. |
