PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety cover when filling air for a tire, which can be compactly folded and convenient for storage, moving and carrying, and can be safely and easily used anywhere without choosing a place. SOLUTION: In the safety cover, string insertion portions 2, 3 are provided at both end opening portions of a cylindrical body 6 made from a soft and strong sheet material 1, and strings 7, 8 are inserted in the string insertion portions 2, 3, respectively. The string 7 inserted in one string insertion portion 2 is narrowed in a loop shape, thereby forming one end opening portion so as to have a small diameter. The end portion of the string 8 inserted in the other string insertion portion 3 exposes from the string insertion portion 3, and a string fixture 10 locking a posture of the string 8 and releasing the locking when the string 8 of the exposed end portion is narrowed in a loop shape, is attached to the string 8.
