PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition for hot plastic working, which can protect the surface of a material to be worked in the hot plastic working and can prevent the formation of scales and scratches. SOLUTION: This lubricant composition for the hot plastic working comprises plural kinds of glass frit having different softening points. At least one kind of the glass frit among the plural kinds of the glass frit has a viscosity of 10<SP>3</SP>to 10<SP>6</SP>dPa*s at 1200°C, and the other kind of the glass frit has a viscosity of 103 to 106 dPa*s at 700°C.
