PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch a wireless connection mode of wireless communication equipment in accordance with a wireless connection mode in which another wireless communication equipment is to be wirelessly connected and to wirelessly connect to the other wireless communication equipment by using the switched wireless connection mode. SOLUTION: One wireless communication equipment in a wireless communication system comprising the plurality of wireless communication equipment includes: a wireless connection mode switching part which has a plurality of wireless connection modes in a wireless LAN communication system and switches the wireless connection mode of the wireless communication equipment in accordance with the wireless connection mode used for the other wireless communication equipment to be wirelessly connected; and a wireless LAN connection part for wirelessly connecting the wireless communication equipment to the other wireless communication equipment by using the wireless connection mode switched by the wireless connection mode switching part.
