PURPOSE: A composition containing camphene is provided to effectively repel Scuticociliates causing mass mortality of fishes. CONSTITUTION: A Scuticociliates insecticide composition contains 0.00001-1.0 wt% of camphene as an active ingredient. The composition is a feed additive composition. The composition is manufactured in the form of a solution, suspension, emulsion, oil, or powder. A feed for fishes contains the composition. The feed contains Scuticociliates insecticidal additive. Camphene is isolated from pine trees and ginger by steam distillation, pressing, or solvent extraction. |
