PURPOSE: A power relay assembly driving device and a driving method thereof improve the fuel efficiency of a vehicle by reducing the overall weight using a normal relay. CONSTITUTION: A first relay unit (141) switches the connection between first terminals of an inverter unit. The inverter unit includes a first terminal of a battery unit and a capacitor. A second relay unit (142) switches the connection between a second terminal of the battery unit and a second terminal of the inverter unit. A first switching unit (150) and a second switching unit (160) are connected between a main control unit and the second terminal of the inverter unit, respectively.
