PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens system capable of preventing unintended focusing with respect to a subject that has a plurality of different focal positions, in a zoom lens having an autofocus function.SOLUTION: A focus lens operating range during autofocus is changed based on a focal distance. To be more specific, at a focal distance within a focal distance range stored in a storing section, a focusing position to be a target within a focusing range set by a focus range setting section is determined, and a focus lens group is controlled so as to be brought to the determined target focusing position. |
