PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can secure sufficient strength, being light in weight and can be manufactured inexpensively, and in which the replacement of a power supply and maintenance can be easily performed.SOLUTION: A printer 10 which is a thermal transfer type printer performing printing on a paper 1 by using a plurality of ink ribbons 23 includes: a plurality of platen rollers 15Y to 15B arranged in the vicinity of a conveyance path for the paper 1 and conveying the paper 1 and the ink ribbons 23; a plurality of thermal heads 16Y to 16B arranged to face the plurality of platen rollers 15Y to 15B respectively and heating the ink of the ink ribbons 23, to transfer the ink to the paper 1; a frame 80 supporting the platen rollers 15Y to 15B and the thermal heads 16Y to 16B; an opening 85b provided in the frame 80; a power supply part 70 which can be inserted and removed through the opening 85b and is arranged in a position surrounded by the frame 80 and fixed to the frame 80, so as to be integral with the frame 80; and a bottom cover frame 86 covering the opening 85b. |
