PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission means for reducing the outline of a large effective diameter of a gear when transmission torque and impact coefficients are large, while a gear type is determined in consideration of safety factor in many cases.SOLUTION: A conventional involute type gear is changed to a gear with a semicircular arc convex gear in its rotating direction cross section and to a gear with a semicircular concave gear in its rotating direction cross section, in a gear device. Alternatively, an insert piece is inserted to secure a large contact area, thereby providing a transmission means enabling high horsepower and high torque transmission. |
