PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically correct positional deviation of a fixing belt.SOLUTION: The fixing device includes: an endless fixing belt laid across between first and second suspension members and rotating; a heating member for coming into contact with the fixing belt and heating the fixing belt; a pressing member for pressing the first suspension member via the fixing belt; a support member supporting the heating member and capable of adjusting a contact state of the heating member with the fixing belt; a detecting unit for detecting the positional deviation of the fixing belt; and a control unit that adjusts the contact state accommodating to the detected positional deviation and corrects the positional deviation of the fixing belt. |
