PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate turning a polar axis of a simple equatorial telescope to the polestar when setting the polar axis with adjustment.SOLUTION: An adjuster for a celestial observation includes: a measurement part 21 having a reference part 23 with an azimuth magnet 33 and a leveling instrument 31 juxtaposed therein and a rotation fixing part 27 having a rotation axis in parallel with an upper surface 25 of the reference part 23; and a base body part 41 having a body part 43 that rotatably supports the rotation fixing part 27 and also has a confirmation window from which a partial side surface of the rotation fixing part 27 is exposed and an attachment part 45 having a bottom surface in parallel with the rotation axis of the rotation fixing part 27. An angle scale is arranged on a side surface of the rotation fixing part 27 and also the angle scale is visually recognizable through the confirmation window.
