PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water pump which can regulate a rotation rate of an impeller, without using a suction negative pressure of an internal combustion engine, while achieving miniaturization.SOLUTION: A water pump (60) includes: a pulley (100) rotated by transmitting power of an internal combustion engine (10); an impeller (110) force-feeding a refrigerant of the internal combustion engine with rotation thereof; a motor (120) arranged inside the pulley and rotating integrally with the pulley; and a rotation transmitting mechanism (130) arranged inside the pulley and transmitting rotation of an output shaft (121) of the motor to an impeller rotation shaft (111). The rotation transmitting mechanism includes: a worm gear (131) connected to the output shaft of the motor; a worm wheel (132) engaged with the worm gear; and a gear mechanism (133) transmitting rotation of the worm wheel to the impeller rotation shaft. |
