PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a hybrid vehicle capable of improving energy efficiency of a vehicle when traveling on an established traveling route.SOLUTION: When establishing a traveling route including a starting place and a plurality of destinations, an HV traveling priority mode is set to respective traveling sections until completing an estimate for making traveling sections of the rest travel at EV travelling by using an amount of electricity accumulation of a battery at longer orders of traveling distances L(i) of respective traveling sections among the starting place and the plurality of destinations forming the traveling route (S140), and an EV traveling priority mode is set to the traveling sections of the rest where the HV traveling priority mode is not set (S150). Consequently, it is apt to take the EV traveling at a traveling section where the traveling distance is short. Further, it is apt to take the EV traveling at the traveling section having a short traveling distance (hardly take HV traveling) since starting of an engine is performed when the HV traveling is performed at each traveling section at first due to stopping at each destination. Thus, starting frequency of the engine can be reduced when traveling on the established traveling route. |
