CATALYST STRUCTURE FOR EXHAUST GAS PROCESSING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel catalyst structure capable of maintaining gas diffusibility to a deep layer part of a catalyst layer even under a condition where a gas flow rate is high.SOLUTION: There is provided a catalyst structure having a porous apatite catalyst layer containing oxide whose crystal structure belongs to an apatite type, the catalyst structure being characterized in having a peak top at a gap capacity diameter of 100-1,000 nm in a logarithmic differential gap capacity distribution measured by a mercury intrusion porosimeter.
