PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stapler capable of coping with a paper sheet bundle of about 20 sheets by using a plastic staple.SOLUTION: A stapler includes a base stand with stood walls on both sides attached to a base, a magazine for housing a staple pivotally attached by a first pin in an upper part on the rear end of the stood walls of the base stand, and urged upwards by a spring between the base and itself, a handle pivotally supported at its rear end by the first pin, and urged upwards by the spring between the magazine and itself, and a lever with its rear end protruded outwards from a through-hole approximately in the center of the handle, and its front end pivotally supported by a second pin at the front upper ends of the stood walls. The stapler further includes a holder for holding a pair of needles with a slit for passing the staple in the front end part of the magazine, and spindles for pressing the staple in the upper part of the holder. The spindle is held by the holder at its upper end, and the holder is attached to an attachment part formed on the back surface on the front end of the handle. |
