PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tag device capable of preventing erroneous determination in a case where communication areas of plural reader devices are overlapped with each other.SOLUTION: Receiving a signal from a reader device 2, a tag device 3 measures receiving strength of the signal from the reader device 2 and measures a period when the signal from the reader device 2 is continuously received and a period when the signal from the reader device 2 is not received. The tag device 3 determines whether the tag device 3 is positioned within a communication area of the reader device 2 on the basis of the measured receiving strength and period. When it is determined that the tag device 3 is positioned within a communication area of the reader device A, the tag device 3 performs a priority control to receive the signal from the reader device A prior to a signal from another reader device B even when the signal from the reader device A is not received but the signal from the another reader device B is received. |
