PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting bracket for installing a solar panel on a roof which can improve workability of installation of a solar panel on a roof and enables effective use of a roof area.SOLUTION: A mounting bracket T for mounting a solar panel S on a frame K of a roof Y comprises: a support fitting 10 mounted to one solar panel S1; and an insertion member 1 mounted to the other solar panel S2. The support fitting 10 includes a base part 11 mounted onto the frame K and an opposite part 15 extended upward from one end of the base part 11 and then elastically bent to the other side to be located above the base part 11. An insertion space part 20 into which a first insertion side part Sc projecting inside the one solar panel S1 and a second insertion side part 2 projecting outside the other solar panel S2 are inserted is formed between the base part 11 and the opposite part 15. Both side parts Sc and 2 are pinched by the base part 11 and the opposite part 15 to be elastically held together.
