PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking support device with less power consumption.SOLUTION: A walking support device 1 includes: an upper thigh mounting part mounted on an upper thigh of a user; a lower thigh mounting part mounted on a lower thigh of the user; a joint part including a 4-node link mechanism provided with a first link to which the upper thigh mounting part is connected, a second link to which the lower thigh mounting part is connected and whose one end is rotatably connected with one end of the first link, a third link whose one end is rotatably connected with the other end of the first link, a fourth link whose one end is rotatably connected with the other end of the second link and whose other end is rotatably connected with the other end of the third link, a curved part formed on the second link, and a restoration assisting means for restoring the fourth link, and is capable of self-locking; a detection part for detecting that an angle formed by the third link and the fourth link is 180° or larger; and a power interruption part for interrupting power supply on the basis of a detection result of the detection part. |
