PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a possibility of occurrence of a state contrary to an intention of a user in a system allowing multi-master.SOLUTION: A communication device includes: a setting part for setting to a master, which controls another device in an imaging system, or a slave, which is controlled by the master; a decision part for deciding whether or not a plurality of masters are allowed to exist in the imaging system; and a notification part for transmitting a notification of causing another master in the imaging system to be changed to a slave. Also, when the decision part does not allow a plurality of masters to exist in an imaging system, and besides, the setting part causes the communication device to be changed from a slave to a master, the notification part transmits the notification. Further, when the decision part allows a plurality of masters to exist in an imaging system, and besides, the setting part causes the communication device to be changed from a slave into a master, the notification part does not transmit the notification. |
