PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unsaturated polyester resin material having properties suitable as a molding material though an unsaturated polyester resin to be obtained from itaconic acid is contained therein.SOLUTION: An unsaturated polyester resin material contains: an unsaturated polyester resin to be produced by reacting polycarboxylic acid and polyol; and styrene. The polycarboxylic acid contains itaconic acid. The polyol contains propylene glycol and dipropylene glycol. A ratio of the dipropylene glycol to the total amount of the propylene glycol and the dipropylene glycol is ≤25 mol%.
