PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently expand tension adjustment width (quantity) of a belt.SOLUTION: An electric power steering device EPS1 is configured to perform steering assist by transmitting torque of a drive pulley 31 coaxially connected to a rotary shaft 21 of an electric motor to a driven pulley 32 coaxially connected to a rotary member 12 of the steering device through a belt 33. The electric power steering device EPS1 includes: a guide means A1 for guiding relative movement of a drive pulley support housing (22W) and a driven pulley support housing (14W); and a regulation means B1 for regulating the relative movement of the drive pulley support housing and the driven pulley support housing. A set direction of the guide means A1 is set to an inclining direction with respect to an axis line Lo connecting centers of both the pulleys at an assembly neutral position of the drive pulley support housing and the driven pulley support housing. |
