PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device by which, when an interchangeable lens and a camera body communicate with each other in a different communication method for each imaging mode, both can communicate with each other with small memory capacity.SOLUTION: An optical device includes a camera microcomputer 12 that can communicate information on imaging operation in a different communication method for each imaging mode. If a present communication method is an asynchronous communication method, the camera microcomputer 12 communicates a command for switching it to a synchronous communication method and then making a stepping motor operatable, and again returns it to the asynchronous communication. |
