PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-reducing valve capable of preventing a packing, which is assembled to the case of a relief valve mechanism, from falling or being misaligned.SOLUTION: Provided is a pressure-reducing valve equipped with a primary side chamber, a secondary side chamber, and a valve element having a water stopping function to variably adjust a flow path area of a boundary portion between the primary side chamber and the secondary side chamber, and the valve is equipped with a relief valve mechanism which, as primary pressure rises when the valve element closes the boundary portion between the primary side chamber and the secondary side chamber, allows the primary side chamber to communicate with a space other than the primary side chamber. The relief valve mechanism has a relief valve seat, a relief spring and a relief valve element, and the relief valve element has a packing which contacts the relief valve seat and a case holding the packing, the packing has a contact surface contacting the relief valve seat and a side surface extending in a direction crossing the contact surface, and the case has holding portions which hold the packing while sandwiching it from the side surfaces and an escape portion to which a swollen portion of the packing sandwiched by the holding portions, which is elastically deformed and swollen to a side direction, is allowed to escape. |
