PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress twist deformation of a front pillar inner panel when a support member is provided to the front pillar inner panel.SOLUTION: In a front pillar structure S, a bracket-side welding part 32 of a fastening bracket 30 is extended to a front side flange part of a front pillar reinforcement 18 and coupled with an inner panel 16. Additionally, in a plane cross sectional view passing the bracket-side welding part 32, a closed cross-sectional part 16A and the fastening bracket 30 of the inner panel 16 contact each other and extend in a vehicle front-back direction. This can suppress the closed cross-sectional part 16A from generating a difference in flexural strength in the vehicle front-back direction, and then can increase the flexural strength of the closed cross-sectional part 16A for rotation moment with a vertical direction as an axial direction. Thus, in an offset head-on collision, when the rotation moment acts on the inner panel 16, the fastening bracket 30 acts as a reinforcement element and can suppress twist deformation of the inner panel 16. |
