PURPOSE: A method for updating the facility information of access points(AP) and an apparatus for the same are provided to precisely measure the positions of terminals by periodically confirming and updating the facility information of the AP. CONSTITUTION: A storing unit stores the facility information of AP. An updating unit(1150) receives AP collecting information containing the coordinates of measuring points and the information of surrounding AP from an information collecting terminal. The updating unit extracts the facility coordinates of the surrounding AP from the storing unit and compares the facility coordinates with the coordinates of the measuring point. Based on the comparison result, the AP collecting information is updated/stored in the storing unit. |
