PURPOSE: A distance meter for a golf course hole using an image separation prism is provided to precisely measure a distance to a flagpole despite the generation of vibration such as hand tremor. CONSTITUTION: A distance meter for a golf course hole using an image separation prism includes a barrel-shaped housing (110), an objective lens (140), an indicating unit, the image separation prism (140), and a distance indicating part (150). The front and the rear side of the housing are opened. The objective lens is formed with at least one lens at the front end of the housing, and the lens faces a target. The distance indicating part provides an image at the objective lens to a user. The prism between the objective lens and the indicating unit separates the image at the objective lens, and then forms the image. The prism inside the housing moves in an optical axis in order to control a distance between the separated images. When the position of the prism is controlled so that the distance between the separated images is set on a referential position, the distance indicating part indicates a distance to the target according to the position of the prism. |
