摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescence observation device capable of easily selecting an appropriate combination of a barrier filter and an excitation filter when both of wide field type fluorescence observation and laser scanning type fluorescence observation are simultaneously performed.SOLUTION: A fluorescence observation device 1 includes a laser scanning type fluorescence observation unit 100, a wide field type fluorescence observation unit 200, and a dichroic mirror for combining a light path of light from the laser scanning type fluorescence observation unit 100 and a light path of light from the wide field type fluorescence observation unit 200. The wide field type fluorescence observation unit 200 includes a plurality of excitation filters which are selectively arranged on the light path of the light from a light source thereof and correspond to each of a plurality of lasers of the laser scanning type fluorescence observation unit 100. Each of the plurality of excitation filters has such optical characteristics that a center wavelength of a transmission band is almost equal to an oscillation wavelength of a corresponding laser and a band width of the transmission band is almost equal to a tolerance width of the oscillation wavelength of the corresponding laser.
