PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum-type washer with reduced vibration which proposes to arrange a vibration sensor away from a site where there is a node of vibration in a plurality of vibration modes of an outer tank, thereby detecting vibration in high accuracy.SOLUTION: A drum-type washer comprises: a drum for containing laundry; an outer tank including the drum; a driving mechanism for rotationally driving the drum; a control device for controlling the driving mechanism; and a vibration detecting device for detecting the vibration displacement of the outer tank. The vibration detecting device is installed at a site lower than the rotation axis of the drum and in a direction where laundry falls as the drum rotates in dehydration process, or at a site higher than the rotation axis of the drum and in a direction where laundry lifts up as the drum rotates. |
