PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter tube for fecal drainage systems preventing odor transmission and preventing the flow of fecal matter from being obstructed by kinking.SOLUTION: This catheter tube includes one or more thermoplastic elastomer layers and one or more odor barrier layers. For example, this multi-layer odor barrier catheter tube 10 can comprise an inner layer 18 of a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), an intermediate layer 16 of an odor barrier film, and an outer layer 12 of the TPE. Alternatively, the multi-layer odor barrier catheter tube includes the inner layer 18 of the TPE sandwiched between the outer layers 12 of an odor barrier film material. |
