PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print data converting device capable of properly correcting the printing origin position on a printer using a print data for a reference printer having a printing origin position differing depending on the size and orientation of a sheet.SOLUTION: A correction reference value DB 111 stores data of correction amount used for adjusting the printing origin position of an outputting printer 160 to the printing origin position of a reference printer while associating name of a printer driver and size and orientation of a sheet with each other. A UI section 109 searches a correction amount corresponding to a combination of the size and orientation of a specified sheet and a printer driver of an outputting printer specified in the print data from the correction reference value DB 111, and reflects the print data to the data in a correction value storage 110. An analyzing section 102 converts the print data into an intermediate data, and an outputting section 103 further converts the intermediate data into an output data represented by GDI or the like. In the conversion by the outputting section 103, the position of respective drawing elements are corrected based on the data of the correction amount stored in the correction value storage 110 by an origin correction section 108. |
