PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aqueous polyurethane resin composition whose cured material is excellent in solvent resistance to a polar solvent, and adhesivity.SOLUTION: A method for producing an aqueous polyurethane resin composition includes a reaction step of reacting a first active hydrogen group-containing component (A) having a hydroxyl group and no ion-forming substituent, a second active hydrogen group-containing component (B) having a hydroxyl group and an ion-forming substituent, and a part (D) of a polyisocyanate component (C) to thereby form an isocyanate group-terminated urethane prepolymer (E), a mixing step of mixing the urethane prepolymer (E) and the remainder (F) of the polyisocyanate component (C), and an emulsification step of emulsifying the mixture obtained in the mixing step in water and reacting the mixture through the water or a chain extender containing a polyamine component (G) to thereby form a polyurethane resin emulsified in the water. |
