PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an exhaust amount of NO and CO which is an unburnt part of exhaust gas and to suppress an exhaust amount of COby suppressing a fuel consumption amount for burning the unburnt part.SOLUTION: A two-stage combustion furnace 1 includes a primary combustion furnace 10 which burns an incinerated object and exhaust gas and a secondary combustion furnace 20 which burns an unburnt part of exhaust gas exhausted from the primary combustion furnace 10. The secondary combustion furnace 20 includes a furnace body 25, an exhaust gas introducing path 30, a gas exhaust path 35, and an air introducing path 50. The exhaust gas introducing path 30 is formed in such a manner as the exhaust gas becomes a swirl flow inside the furnace body 25. The air introducing path 50 is formed in such a way that the combustion air becomes a swirl flow inside the furnace body 25, and the combustion air and the exhaust gas have swirl flows in the same direction. |
