PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system for recognizing a direction where a portable terminal is placed on an information processor.SOLUTION: An information processing system 100 includes: a portable terminal 1 and a PC 2. The portable terminal 1 includes a touch panel type monitor part 3, a CPU 11 for making a monitor part 3 display an image, and a detected magnet 1a. The PC 2 includes a placement part 41 for placing the portable terminal 1, and a first sensor 2aand a second sensor 2afor detecting the detected magnet 1a when the portable terminal 1 is placed on the placement part 41. When the portable terminal 1 is viewed in a plane perspective manner, the detected magnet 1a is separated from a center P of the portable terminal 1. In the portable terminal 1, the CPU 11 determines the direction of an image to be displayed at the monitor part 3 in accordance with the detection result of the first sensor 2aand the second sensor 2a. |
