PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus capable of reducing unneeded exposure and providing desired images.SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus of an embodiment has an X-ray generation part for generating X-rays while rotating along a circular orbit centering on a subject, on the basis of a plurality of exposure conditions of different exposure doses of X-rays to the subject. The X-ray CT apparatus includes an X-ray detection part, a switching part and a control part. The X-ray detection part detects X-rays transmitted through the subject. The switching part switches the exposure condition. The control part controls the X-ray detection part so as to change the number of samples per rotation of the X-ray generation part on the basis of the result of switching. |
