PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unnecessary power consumption by a communication circuit in an electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: A sink apparatus 3 connected with a source apparatus 2 through a communication cable 4 includes: a sink connection section 11 with which the communication cable 4 is connected to be detachable; a plurality of electronic components 12-13 including a sink RxIC12 that is connected with the sink connection section 11 and exchanges a signal with a source apparatus 2; and a sink power supply circuit 14. The sink RxIC12 is powered from the communication cable 4 through the sink connection section 11. The other electronic component 13 is powered from the sink power supply circuit 14.
