PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress external light from being received at a light receiving element while minimizing an increase in size and a rise in cost of an image sensor.SOLUTION: An image sensor 14 includes a light receiving element 32 receiving light reflected by a manuscript and a substrate 18 having a surface 18A on which the light receiving element 32 is mounted. In the substrate 18, an input line 52 transmitting a control signal to the light receiving element 32 and provided on the rear face 18B side of the substrate 18 passes through a region directly under the light receiving element 32. A pattern 60 is provided on the front surface 18A side of the substrate 18, the pattern having light blocking properties in a range R including all of the region directly under the light receiving element 32. |
