PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a nanofiber that can obtain a nanofiber by a reduced number of processes and in a short time.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a nano-cellulose which includes a fibrillating treatment step for mixing a cellulose-containing raw material with a treatment liquid including an ionic liquid and a diluting liquid and subjecting the mixture to a fibrillating treatment, and in which the content of the ionic liquid is 5-20 wt.% and the content of the diluting liquid is 80-95 wt.% based on the weight of the treatment liquid. It is preferable that the fibrillating treatment is carried out by using a kneader or a multiaxial kneading extruder. It is preferable that the revolving speed of the revolving shaft of the kneader or the multiaxial kneading extruder is 300-400 rpm. It is preferable that the content of the ionic liquid is 5-20 wt.% and the content of the diluting liquid is 80-95 wt.% based on the weight of the treatment liquid. |
