PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workbench having secured high strength, while allowing working cost to be suppressed by reducing a welding process as far as possible.SOLUTION: Four corners of an upper frame 2 are supported by leg support posts 3, and a top plate 1 is superposed on the upper frame 2 and is fixed. The upper frame 2 is a metal sheet finished article, wall plates 14, 15 rise from four corners of the bottom plate 13, and outward flanges 16, 23 on which the top plate 1 is placed are integrally formed on upper ends of the wall plates 14, 15. The outward flange 16 positioned on a long side is provided with an inner support part 17 and an inner side plate 18, and a lower end of the inner side plate 18 is in contact with the bottom plate 13. The upper frame 2 is a sheet metal finished article, and is thus excellent in workability and dimensional accuracy. The outward flange 16 can be fastened as it is to the top plate 1, and thus a bracket is not required to be welded. The wall plate 14 on the long side and the inner side plate 18 form a hollow structure, and thus high rigidity can be secured. |
