摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable securement of a driving force sufficient for maintaining reverse movement even if remaining capacity SOC of a power storage device 13 in reverse movement by an electric motor MG2 becomes a charge start value X or below, in a control device for a vehicle 100 having an engine 1, an electric generator MG1, an electric motor MG2, a power split mechanism 2, and the power storage device 13.SOLUTION: If remaining capacity SOC of the power storage device 13 becomes a charge start value X or below when moving reverse by reverse rotation of the electric motor MG2, a reverse movement driving force F1 that can be generated by first reverse movement control (control for causing an electric motor MG2 to generate the reverse movement driving force F1 while causing an electric generator MG1 to generate electricity by an engine 1 to forcibly charge a power storage device 13), and a reverse movement driving force F2 that can be generated by second reverse movement control (control for causing the electric motor MG2 to generate reverse movement driving force F2 while restricting output of remaining electric power of the power storage device 13 without performing the forced charging) are respectively estimated, and reverse movement control for the larger one in the estimated results is selectively performed.
