PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device capable of performing arrival-ensured data transmission at a high speed with another communication device connected via wireless communication.SOLUTION: A wireless communication device 100 includes: a MAC layer section 130 that receives a wireless confirmation response representing data reception after wirelessly transmitting data to a wireless communication device 200; and a protocol adaptation layer section 120 that reserves a piece of retransmission data in a transmission buffer 122 for retransmission of the data as an upper layer of the MAC layer section 130. The MAC layer section 130 notifies the protocol adaptation layer section 120 of the received wireless confirmation response. Receiving the notification of the wireless confirmation response, the protocol adaptation layer section 120 deletes the retransmission data from the transmission buffer 122, and notifies an upper layer section 110 that outputs the data to the transmission buffer 122 that a space is generated in the transmission buffer 122.
