A method for actuating an AC/DC voltage transformer (1a..1e) is specified, which AC/DC voltage transformer has a DC voltage output (A) between which at least one series circuit comprising at least two capacitors (C1, C2) and at least one series circuit comprising n switching elements (S1a..S6b, T1a..T6b) is arranged, where n >= 4. A connecting point between the switching elements (S1a..S6b, T1a..T6b) is connected to a connection (L1, L2, L3) for an AC voltage input (E) between n/2 switching elements (S1a..S6b, T1a..T6b). The two switching elements (S1a..S6a, T1a..T6a) situated closest to said connecting point have two diodes (D1..D6) connected in parallel in opposite directions. In addition, a connecting point between the capacitors (C1, C2) is connected to a connecting point between the diodes (D1..D6). According to the method, an output voltage (UA) at the DC voltage output (A) and a potential (UC1) at said connecting point between the capacitors (C1, C2) or the diodes (D1..D6) are provided as controlled variables, an input current (IL1, IL2, IL3) at the AC voltage input (E) is provided as a manipulated variable and the switching elements (S1a..S6b, T1a..T6b) are provided as an actuating element for a control loop. In addition, a controller (2a, 2b) for implementing the method and an AC/DC voltage transformer (1a.. 1e) containing such a controller (2a, 2b) are specified. |
