PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery with an excellent cycle charge and discharge characteristic under a cryogenic condition having a high capacity and basic performance as a battery.SOLUTION: An electrolyte composition is characterized as follows. A polymer having an ethylene oxide structure, a cyclic carbonate compound having an ethylene oxide unit in a side chain, and an electrolyte salt compound are properly selected, and the cyclic carbonate compound having the ethylene oxide unit in the side chain and the electrolyte salt compound are made to exist together in the polymer having the ethylene oxide structure. In addition, a secondary battery using the same is disclosed. |
