PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbocharger having a rotary shaft held by a floating metal, while preventing the floating metal from vibrating axially and wildly.SOLUTION: A floating metal 14 is fitted to a center bearing part 15 which is arranged in a center housing 6 with a slight clearance therebetween. The floating metal 14 is configured to slide slightly also in an axial direction. A stopper pin 26 arranged in the center bearing part 15 is fitted into a detent hole 25 provided in the floating metal 14, thereby preventing the floating metal 14 from rotating around a rotary shaft 3. The detent hole 25 is formed in a tapered shape or the like so that an end opposite a rotation direction of the rotary shaft 3 is narrow. When the rotary shaft 3 rotates, the stopper pin 26 engages with a constricted part 25a of the detent hole 25, thereby preventing the floating metal 14 from axially vibrating. |
