#CMT# #/CMT# The mechanism (1) has a connecting axle (2) rotatably mounted at a bearing holder (3). The connecting axle includes a control wheel connecting device (4) at an end for connecting a control wheel, and a sensor connecting device (5) at another end for connection to a sensor axle (61) of an angular sensor (6). A braking device (7) i.e. corrugated spring disk, operates between the connecting axle and the holder. The holder is form-fit connected with a flange disk (8) on a side of the wheel connecting device by screw connections (38). The holder is made of plastic. The flange disk is made of metal. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Connecting mechanism for connecting a control wheel to an angular sensor for controlling a locomotion device of a vehicle and for adjusting a speed of the vehicle. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The connecting axle is rotatably mounted at the bearing holder, thus minimizing transmission of transverse forces between the control wheel and the angular sensor. The mechanism has a reduced number of components, and is easily mounted at the vehicle. The utilization of the flange disk allows components of the mechanism to be easily held together. The utilization of the corrugated spring disk ensures the long-lived and simple braking device. The mechanism easily produces a connection between the connecting axle and the sensor axle, and blocks twisting between the bearing holder and the angular sensor, thus achieving accurate angle measurement.
