PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently make ice by largely taking a contact area between ice and water by changing an adhesion state of the ice to a plate-shaped heat exchanger, in an ice thermal storage device which heat-stores cold heat by making the ice on the external face of the heat exchanger.SOLUTION: An ice thermal storage device comprises a heat exchanger 3 in which laminated plate materials 8, 8 are welded 11 to each other on at least a plate face, the plate face is divided into a swollen part 9 and a non-swollen part 10 by the welding, and swollen and deformed in a direction in which the plate materials 8, 8 are separated from each other at the swollen part 9, and a refrigerant passage 13 is formed. The middle of the refrigerant passage 13 is partitioned into a plurality of regions in the width direction of the refrigerant passage 13. It is arranged in a heat storage tank in which water is stored, ice is made (I) on the external face of the heat exchanger 3 by the refrigerant which is made to pass to the refrigerant passage 13 of the heat exchanger 3, and the cold heat is heat-stored. The swollen part 9 and the non-swollen part 10 are formed as regions surrounded by a welded part 11, respectively. |
